These small groups meet each Sunday morning at 9:30 am (Discipleship Hour) for a time of sharing and the teaching of God’s Word. It’s a great place to develop life-long friendships and to grow in your faith.

Sunday Morning Classes

Nehemiah Class taught by Wayne McCurley - Room 201

Our class is studying the book entitled, Radical (“Taking Back Your Faith From The American Dream”), by David Platt. This book delivers a powerful picture of the church in America today that, on key points, stands in sharp contrast to what the Bible states about what the church is to be.

 

Berean Class taught by Ron Durham (Joe Kost, Assistant) - Fellowship Hall

This winter quarter we are studying the book Playing with Fire, by Walt Russell. It is a book teaching the different genres of the books of the Bible to help obtain correct interpretations of biblical passages.

 

Joshua Class taught by Paul Adams/Tim Draayom - Room 203
We are studying the book, “Humility” by Andrew Murray. His writing on the much under taught and misunderstood subject of humility has been very illuminating. We are understanding how Christ modeled humility as described in Philippians 2. We are learning how humility allows us, as his disciples, to walk closer with the Lord and to be used for his glory.

 

Parenting Class taught by Pastor Morgan—Fellowship Hall

This quarter this class is using articles from Focus On The Family on parenting teens and then looking at passages from the Word of God that address the topic of discussion

Sunday Evening Classes

 

Christian Growth Institute

The Christian Growth Institute is a system of classes designed for those who want to go deeper in the study of the Word of God. These classes are offered at various times through the year with the summer being the optimum season of classes offered.

This Winter the Christians Growth Institute is being offered on Wednesday nights at 7:30-8:30 p.m. with the Study of the Book of Ecclesiastes taught by Keith Eddie. This book is God’s record of all that human thinking and natural religion has ever been able to discover concerning the meaning of life concluding that without a relationship with God, it is meaningless.
